Why phones SHOULD be ALLOWED at School by Mati and Soana
Introduction:
Here are some reasonable reasons why we should be allowed to have our phones at school. We have faster and easier access to the device, there are so many useful sites that are blocked on chromebooks that are not blocked on phones then lastly is phones at break times. This is how Soana and Mati feel !
Easier Access:
We have much easier access to phones. When we’re comparing phones to devices, phones are so much easier to put in your pocket. Phones also are allowed to be taken home. However chromebooks are much more heavy and we must carry them with two hands. We are able to take our phones anywhere and everywhere without having to worry where to put it.
Useful sites:
Useful sites on chromebooks are blocked, On chromebooks there are so many apps that we are unable to use. However on phones you can do anything freely. These sites actually seem useful and could really help with many students’ research in their learning environment.
Only used at break times:
How can our phones be such a distraction when it’s only used at break times? How can our personal phones be a problem to everybody else’s Lunchtime/Morning Tea. We should have our rights to be on our phones that WE OWN during break times. Getting our phones taken off us in class is tolerable but we must be capable of having our devices at our own provided lunch times.
In conclusion, at the age of teenagers taking away phones may be a disadvantage. Teenagers may have their mind on their phones “Is my phone safe?”, “I need my phone”. We have effortless access to our phones, we are able to use useful sites when it comes to learning. Lastly we MUST be able to have our phones out at break times as it is our provided personal time!
